Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data Stoxiva by HiServe collects through Stoxiva, why, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
1. Who we are
Stoxiva by HiServe, Plot 5, Chief Yesufu Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, runs Stoxiva. For sellers' stores, we process buyers' data on the seller's behalf: the seller decides how it's used for their business.
2. What we collect
Sellers: name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, business details, store content, and plan payment records.
Buyers: name, email, phone number, delivery address, order details, and wholesale account applications.
Technical data needed to keep the service secure and working, such as sign-in cookies and basic logs.
3. Why we use it
To run stores, take orders and payments, deliver order and delivery updates, provide support, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
We don't sell personal data, and we don't use buyers' data for our own advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Service providers that help run Stoxiva: QorePay (payments), Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting and email). They may only use the data to provide their service.
The seller you buy from sees your order and delivery details. We may share data where the law requires it.
If you start paying on a store and don't finish, the store may email you up to two reminders about that order. If you ask to be told when an item is back in stock, we email you once when it is. If you rate an order, your first name and initial appear with your rating.
Some sellers add advertising and analytics tools to their store (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Analytics). On those stores, your visits, items added to cart and purchases (not your name, phone or address) are sent to those tools for the seller's ads and statistics, under those companies' own policies.
5. Where it's stored
Data is stored with our providers, including in the European Union (Ireland). We use providers with appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep account and order records while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise them.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to some uses, or ask for a copy. Buyers can also contact the seller they bought from.
To use these rights, email privacy@stoxiva.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Security
Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and never stored by us in plain text. Payments are handled by QorePay; we never see full card numbers.
9. Changes and contact
We'll update this page when our practices change and tell sellers about important changes.
